Juliette Derel (1918-2007) began working in Vallauris, France with Jean Rivier (her husband during the 1950s), Jacques Innocenti, and Pablo Picasso. Her ceramics, assemblages of ceramic and metal, and collages and quilts are all highly sought-after artifacts of a glamorous time and place.
