Set is comprised of champagne pliers, a can opener, and a fruit knife. Impressed manufacturer's mark to handle of each example 'Dunhill 925' with hallmark. Impressed mark to blade of fruit knife 'Pfeilring Solingen Rostfrei'. Impressed mark to pliers and can opener 'INOX'. 7.75 ozt. (gross weight) Sold with a fitted presentation case.

Alfred Dunhill, Paris

Alfred Dunhill, a visionary businessman, opened a tobacconist's shop on London’s Duke Street in 1907, followed by shops in New York in 1922 and Paris in 1924. Dunhill outsourced the manufacture of cigarette cases to the German firm Kuppenheim, with decorative finishes provided by local Paris workshops. During the 1920s and 1930s, the firm became known for producing high-quality lighters and cigarette cases, many featuring excellent Art Deco designs. The firm’s Unique lighter and case from 1924, styled after Jean Dunand’s designs, is still produced today.
