Carl Halier Timeline

1873 Carl Halier was born in Germany.

1898 He settled in Denmark and began practicing pottery on his own.

1913 He joined Royal Copenhagen as a thrower, training under Patrick Nordstrom.

1922 He succeeded Nordstrom as the technical manager at the factory.

1926 Upon his departure from Royal Copenhagen, he co-established the Triangle Studio with Arne Bang, where they collaborated with renowned ceramicists including Axel Salto and Hans Hansen.

1930 He rejoined Royal Copenhagen where he remained employed until his death in 1948.
