This design by Leif Elvestad is the Norwegian variation of the popular Magic Box desk by Swiss duo, Mummenthaler & Meier. Based on the concept of the Wooton desk from the late 19th century, this compact secretary conceals a fold-out desktop, storage and a blue task lamp, a distinctly Scandinavian feature that distinguishes this example from other productions.
Secretary features fourteen shelves with one lighting element and one fold-out desk above a drawer and sliding tray. Stamped mark to reverse ‘Made in Norway’.
