Eight by Eight to Celebrate the Temporary Contemporary was a portfolio of prints by eight artists produced to help raise funds for the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (LA MOCA) founded in 1979. In addition Diebenkorn, the portfolio included prints by Sam Francis, David Hockney, Ellsworth Kelly, Robert Rauschenberg, Niki de Saint Phalle, Jean Tinguely and Andy Warhol.
Signed, dated and numbered to lower edge ‘183/250 RD '82’ with publisher's bindstamp. This work is number 183 from the edition of 250 printed by Gemini G.E.L., Los Angeles and published by the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.
