This complete portfolio is comprised of forty reproduced prints by Klee found in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, as well as a brochure with an essay by James Thrall Soby, Chairman of Painting and Sculpture at the time of the original publication and an insert with an introduction by Christophe Cherix, Chief Curator of Prints and Illustrated Books at the museum.

Works from the Estate of Roger Ramsay

Roger Ramsay opened his eponymous gallery on Michigan Avenue in 1981. Over the years, Roger Ramsay Gallery featured works in nearly every medium and in motifs ranging from classical to abstract, including the first exhibition of drawings by Adolf Hirémy-Hirschl in the United States. Roger featured the work of artists from Chicago, the U.S., Canada, and Europe, from the late 19th century to the 21st century. Chicago-based artists exhibited by Roger include Jeanette Pasin Sloan, Claes Oldenburg, Randy Dudley, and Elizabeth Ockwell among others. Roger Ramsay Gallery closed in 2018.
