Produced for the Museum of Modern Art, these teacups and saucers are reproductions of pieces decorated by Nikolai Suetin, originally manufactured by the Petrograd Porcelain Factory or Lomonosov Porcelain in 1923.
The collection is comprised of five small tea cups, four small saucers, seven medium tea cups, five medium saucers, four large tea cups, and four large saucers; 29 pieces total. Printed manufacturer's mark to underside of each example ‘The Museum of Modern Art’ with additional marks to most examples including descriptive text, 'Vista Allegre Portugal', 'Mottahedah', and ‘Made in Indonesia’.
