Rago, Wright, and LAMA are proud to host the Be Original Americas benefit auction on March 25th. This special event will feature one-of-a-kind works, prototypes, signed editions and more from some of the most iconic names in 20th and 21st century design. Find works by Philippe Starck, Hans J. Wegner, Virgil Abloh, Knoll, and more, offered in support of Be Original Americas' mission to raise awareness about the value and significance of authenticity. 

Offered in conjunction with the traveling exhibition Originality Deconstructed, the auction will take place at the Ace Hotel DTLA and accommodate both live and online bidding.

Originality and authenticity are two of the most important qualities of designs to hit the auction block. They are also the foundation of all works that have become iconic markers in the history of design. Rago/Wright is proud to support Be Original Americas and their mission to inform and educate makers, designers, and consumers about the economic, ethical and environmental value of authentic design.

The capsule exhibition celebrates creativity by pulling back the curtain on the “how” and “why” of iconic design products, demystifying what goes into their conception. By dissecting these items, the showcase offers an in-depth look into different aspects of production.
