Founded by John Zabrucky, Modern Props was in business for 42 years before closing its doors in 2020. The company was a trusted resource for the entertainment industry, providing props for the "Incredible Hulk" TV series in the late 1970s, as well as for a multitude of productions and movies including Independence Day, Men in Black, Austin Powers, Blade Runner, and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. As donor Beth Dickstein explains of this lot, Zabrucky "gave these fun and quirky gifts to friends and I was lucky to be one of them."
