Stamped signature and date to underside 'Marcel Duchamp 64'. Incised number to underside ‘23/100’. This work is number 23 from the edition of 100 completed posthumously with the permission of Duchamp's widow by the International Collectors Society, New York. Between 1967-1979, the International Collectors Society issued 60 examples in bronze, no. 1 to 60. The edition was completed posthumously in 1981–82 to the edition of 100. This work is pending certification by the Association Marcel Duchamp.
