Ralph Lauren's RL-CF1 Armchair

Lauren with one of his two McLaren F1s.

Inspired by the McLaren F1 which features a lightweight and incredibly strong carbon fiber chassis, Ralf Lauren crafted this design using fifty-four layers of tissue carbon laid by hand. The resulting chair is both visually sleek and structurally enduring and much like his fashion designs, an effortless melding of comfort and luxury.
