This work is comprised of original bricks from Frederick C. Robie House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1909. Rezac was one of five Chicago-based artists asked to make works using materials from the home to be offered in support of the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation. The artist provided specific instructions for installation: "This work should be installed level, and so that it is seen from below. The bolts should be placed in wall at least 80 inches above floor, using lag bolts or hollow-wall/molly bolts, depending on the wall composition."
