This vase is part of a small group of vessels co-designed by Flavio Poli and the young master blower Alfredo Barbini. These pieces were technically complex and highly experimental, so very few were made. Composed of thin layers of clear, opaque white, and violet glass with gold leaf, Grigio Oro vessels appear to be made of luminous grey metal.
