The Higgins executed this unique tile based on a design by Susan Jackson Keig, who would later use a related tile for one of her design projects.
Susan Jackson Keig had a long standing professional and social relationship with Michael and Frances Higgins. Over the years they would exchange gifts, small one-off pieces, with each other as tokens of their friendship.
