Balthazar Korab specialized in architectural photography and after he immigrated to the United States in 1955, Eero Saarinen hired him to document his buildings and design process.This photograph depicts the Triton Pools at Cranbrook Academy, designed by Eliel Saarinen (the father of Eero Saarinen) from 1915 to 1916 and modeled after the Europa Fountain in Halmstad, Sweden.
