This work was featured on the cover of motive magazine's October 1966 issue. motive was the magazine for the Methodist Student Movement, notable for its progressive stance on civil rights, the Vietnam War and the emerging feminist movement. motive was also influential for its avant-garde design and layouts. Sister Mary Corita Kent did several of their covers during the publication's run from 1941 to 1972.
