These andirons were designed in 1986 and produced exclusively for the Royalton Hotel in New York City, which opened in 1988, and are still featured in their suites today. This was the first hotel interior that Philippe Starck designed and it received the National AIA Design Award in 1991.

My idea is to bring happiness, respect, vision, poetry, surrealism and magic to design.
