They’re examples of Postmodernism and I realized maybe this is the reason I like difficult furniture or atonal furniture. You don’t go, “Okay’s where’s my chairs?” You go “Holy shit what is that thing?” You have to think about it. It invades you and makes your feel uncomfortable in a lot of ways, and that’s the point. It opens up dialogue.
