Finn Juhl introduced this cabinet as part of a bedroom suite he designed for L. Pontoppidian at the Danish Cabinetmakers Guild exhibition in 1961. Few examples of this colorful, hinged cabinet were made; aside from L. Pontoppidan’s production, Niels Roth Anderson has made approximately twelve examples of this form. The earliest example of this cabinet can be found in Finn Juhl’s own home in Charlottenlund, Copenhagen.
This hinged cabinet opens to reveal ten brightly colored drawers. Signed with branded manufacturer's mark to underside: [SH EFTF Roth Andersen Cabinetmaker].
