This chandelier is one of eight identical works installed in the entry lobbies of two pioneering New York City residential structures, which together with the central garden, were known initially as Kips Bay Plaza (later Kips Bay Towers upon condominium conversion), designed by I. M. Pei & Associates and developed by William Zeckendorf of Webb and Knapp.
Lot is sold with bulbs as originally specified by the architect.
