This office suite was originally used by architect Talbot Wilson of the architecture firm Wilson, Morris, Crain & Anderson. The Houston based firm was responsible for designing several important buildings in the 1960s and 70s, including The Houston Astrodome. Wilson bequeathed the suite to his brother, Thomas Wilson, a well-known residential architect in the Houston Area, who used the set in his office for many years.
Suite includes roll-top desk, drafting table and three wall-mounted shelves each measuring 47.5 w x 12 d x 13.75 h inches. Signed with applied metal disc manufacturer's label to base of drafting table and desk: [Designed by George Nelson Herman Miller Zeeland, Mich].
