Gerald Cramer was a successful gallerist, print publisher and the first to encourage Henry Moore to seriously pursue printmaking in 1961. Their friendship lasted for over 25 during which Moore and Cramer collaborated on hundreds of prints. Cramer kept a personal copy of each print which the artist inscribed and dedicated to his friend.
