The present lot illustrated in situ at the Salon de Musique, Paris.

In the mid-1920s, leading Art Deco designer Paul Follot designed the furnishings for the Salon de Musique in Paris. This carpet was situated below an extraordinary piano with a singular support, and featured a starry night sky surround by the twelve astrological signs.
