While at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, architect Walter Netsch commissioned Francois Dallegret to conceptualize and create tower models that would be included in a project for a large university park. The project, named Kubaltos, was never realized but Dallegret continued to utilize the forms as models for other concepts.
