In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Vorwerk collaborated with renowned artists for a series of carpet designs. This design by Barbara Kruger was included in the collection along with works by Gerhard Richter, David Hockney, Zaha Hadid and others. Each work was intended to be produced in an edition of 100, but due to financial difficulties the series was never completed.
Signed with applied fabric manufacturer's label to reverse: [Arterior Vorwerk Design Barbara Kruger].
