This rare desk features details consistent with the earliest production models of the Terni desk as documented in the Mobili Italiani Moderni manufacturer’s catalog. This example features a double legged table top support with the two legs running parallel to each other, a detail that would become simplified and more v-shaped in the later, and more common production model.
Chair measures: 24.75 w x 22 d x 32.75 h inches. Desk cabinet features drawers to both sides. Signed with applied manufacturer's label to underside of chair: [Mobili MIM Roma Art: 8101 Made in Italy]. Signed twice with applied manufacturer's label to drawer and underside of top: [Mobili MIM Roma].
