Mosaico

This rare and important Mosaico vase, composed of murrines and polichrome rods, is an example of Guiseppe and Benvenuto Barovier’s work at its peak. Made just after the First World War, the imagery suggests a landscape with trees in bloom and the overall visual effect is that of an Expressionist painting. The complex imagery, beauty and technical virtuosity of this vessel make it truly exceptional.
