Langlands & Bell

London based Ben Langlands and Nikki Bell have been collaborating since 1978. Their artwork spans a variety of different mediums, including sculpture, film, digital works and full scale architecture. Concerned with the psychological impact of the buildings we inhabit, the duo recall Michel Foucault in their exploration of architecture and power. For these works, the artists incorporate precise architectural models into everyday furniture, using these common forms as an entry point into a deeper exploration of the often political nature of famous buildings.
