From the Collection of Ira H. Levy
This pair of table lamps was acquired from Christopher Chodoff’s shop on East 57th Street, New York. Chodoff, an antiques dealer and furniture designer, sold both antique and new furnishings and was among the first dealers to introduce the works of Diego and Alberto Giacometti, Eileen Gray and Jean-Michel Frank to the American market.
In November of 1968, Mr. Levy's interior was featured in House & Garden, these lamps photographed in the living room.
