Mario Dal Fabbro 1913–1990

Mario Dal Fabbro worked in his family’s furniture design shop in Italy before pursuing an education in the field of art and design. He graduated in 1937 with high honors and went on to create furniture designs for private clients and furniture stores in Milan. In 1948, Dal Fabbro immigrated to the United States where he began designing works for mass production.

In addition to designing furniture, Dal Fabbro was the author of numerous books on Modern furniture design. He was also an artist, and in the late 1960s Dal Fabbro turned his attention to sculpture creating objects of beauty that exhibit his expert craftsmanship.
