This cabinet is from a series of playful and colorful miniatures Hans von Klier designed in 1969 for the storage of jewelry, coins and candy. Hans von Klier graduated from the Ulm School of Design in 1959 before moving to Milan, Italy. In Italy von Klier worked in the studio of Ettore Sottsass creating furniture and office equipment for Olivetti, the Praxis 48 Typewriter among their collaborative designs. In 1968 von Klier became the director of Corporate Identity of Olivetti & C., a position he held until 1989.
This miniature cabinet features one door and seven drawers.
