The Edward G. Robinson Residence by Sam Marx

This one-of-a-kind coffee table comes from the Edward G. Robinson Residence in Beverly Hills for which Samuel Marx was both architect and interior decorator. The Robinsons had an extensive art collection so Marx built a free-standing windowless gallery adjacent to their home.

This coffee table was used in the Robinson gallery space. It has remained in the family collection until recently and is accompanied by a letter of provenance from Francesca Robinson, the granddaughter of Edward and Gladys Robinson.
