Max Kuehne is best known for his landscape paintings in the Impressionist style, but he was also a skilled woodworker and master craftsman. Throughout his career, Kuehne created sophisticated panels, screens, mirrors, furniture and frames using traditional techniques of the Renaissance. His design works, with their subtle patinas, expert gilding and precise carved details, exhibit a distinct and refined aesthetic.
