Signed with molded manufacturer's mark to red sphere 'Property NYCTA'. The red globe in this work was made using the same mold used for the globes that mark the New York City subway entrances. Sold with original correspondence from R.M Fischer and a poster for Bubble World at Deitch Projects.

R.M. Fischer

Artist R.M. Fischer is well known for his industrial assemblages and public sculptures that blur the lines between art, architecture and design. This work, The Incandescent Ones, is made of polyethylene spheres, the red ones created from the same mold used for the globes that mark the New York City subway entrances.

This work was included it R.M. Fischer’s Bubble World installation on view at Deitch Projects, New York. The following original exhibition poster accompanies this work.
