In the 1950s Vladimir Kagan worked with various artists to create unique, decorated tiles for his table tops and cabinet fronts. Alexandra Kasuba, a Russian immigrant, became one of Kagan’s most important artists. This wall-mounted console features Kasuba’s tiles; the horse was one of her favorite motifs.
Mirror measures: 22 w x 30 h inches. Console features a flip-top front extending the surface to 26 inches. Signed with applied manufacturer's label to reverse of mirror: [Kagan-Dreyfuss Inc].
