Rosso e Nero
Between 1928 and 1932, vases of opaque glass in vividly contrasting red and black tones became popular and fine examples were produced by many prominent Murano glassmakers including Zecchin-Martinuzzi, Fratelli Toso and Ferro Toso & C. This style was inspired by trends in fashion and graphic design and became emblematic of the Novecento period.
