The Ballet chair was inspired by dancers wearing leg warmers and toe shoes, arching their backs; this form is a modified and unique version of a chair designed for the Iridium Jazz Club, adjacent to the ballet at Lincoln Center, a project Mozer was working on at the same time as the D'Alba residence.
