Color is the fundamental design element of the rugs from the Sahar collection. Collaborating with the Qashqai of southern Iran, Robinson's carpets are made from locally gathered wool that is worked and dyed by hand. His designs allow for improvisation and elaboration by the weaver resulting in a collection of spontaneous, organic and unique carpets.
