In 1993 Jean-Michel Wilmotte was commissioned to develop new public seating for the Richelieu wing of the Grand Louvre under the direction of I.M.Pei. Among several forms developed for the project, only a few examples were put into limited production exclusively for the museum. The following three lots are prototypes from this series, illustrating the high quality and unique forms developed for this prestigious commission.
