This design was used as public seating in the ceramics pavilion at l'Exposition Internationale des Arts et Techniques dans la Vie Moderne of 1937 in Paris. The form was subsequently exhibited at "Salon des Arts Décoratifs du Caire" in Egypt (1938), at the "International Art Fair" in New York (1939) and at the 1999 exhibition of Jean Royere furniture at the Musée des Arts Décoratif in Paris.
