An excellent set of tables that can be used separately or together to form a large surface. Powell has commented that gold and silver leaf in a patchwork pattern was one of his favorite techniques. The reflective metallic surface accentuates the deeply carved bases while highlighting its own luminous characteristics. In addition, clusters of semi-precious lapis lazuli are inlayed into the polished solid wood tabletops.
