This rare collection of photography from Torino is an early graphic design by Sottsass. The quality and cropping of the photos and imagery has a very cutting edge appearance for the time. Sottsass specifically designated the plastic spine to be red in color, surprising everybody. It is noteworthy that Sottsass' name is spelled Sot-Sass. In this version, there is a second S added to his surname that is absent on a previous title from 1945. As he is the sole designer of this book, it seems he was experimenting with his name.
