This 1945 title was designed by Ettore Sottsass in December of that year and limited to only 500 distributed copies. During the time of this design, Sottsass was desperately poor and could not afford the typical glue or cloth for the binding and so he fashioned it as a portfolio with loose leaf sheets. Prominent designer Carlo Mollino wrote the six page preface, possibly having orchestrated the entire publication. He hired Sottsass and Vladi Oregno (who later went on to work in photography) to design the book. Stamped number 333 from the edition of 500 printed copies. This copy retains the original glassine exterior.
