This pair of doors was created for the entrance of the Laguna Beach Art Guild building in downtown Laguna Beach that was refurbished by its members in 1966. After installation, Hutchinson entered the doors into the California National Design Show in which they were prominently displayed at the entranceway of the exhibition. The inclusion in this landmark craft show solidified Hutchinson's place in California design history.
