MAgriTTA is an object that oscillates between art and functional design. The object acts as a stool for occasional seating, but the form is borrowed from a painting by Rene Magritte, becoming a surrealist objet d'art. Matta is clever in utilizing a capitalization of the letters of his name in the titling of the object adding a final twist to the enigmatic form.
