Preben Fabricius worked under Finn Juhl in 1952, designing seating for the United Nations building in New York. Jorgen Kastholm worked for Fritz Hansen and Ole Hagen. Fabricius and Kastholm worked together from 1962 through 1970 developing many forms that link the reductivist lines of the International Style with the sensibilities of the Danish craft tradition.
