The furniture for the Kleinhas Music Hall in Buffalo was an early collaboration between Eames and Saarinen, done while Charles was working in Eliel Saarinen's office in 1939. The molded form of the chair is highly influenced by Aalto and is still two-dimensional in its form. The chair marks the first step in a collaboration that would yield the famous Organic Design seating designs.
