Mallory's explorations with mercury display aspects of biomorphism and minimalism. Rotating freely on a central pivot mounted to the wall, this work can be turned, allowing the mercury to undulate and flow in the thin surface as intended by the artist. The reflective and viscus nature of the mercury allows for a slowly evolving compostion that interacts with the surrounding room. Sold with signed letter of authenticity by the artist.
