This rare LCM has transitional mounting hardware on the front shock mounts of the seat. The early experiments with the welded rubber yielded a number of working solutions to the problem of attaching plywood to a metal frame. In this example, a coupling was incorporated around the front legs that surrounds the leg and is subsequently attached to the rubber mounts with a screw.
