Two bundles of 154 rods each. Bertoia's earliest developments with the Sonambient series included forms that resemble crystaline structures, further emphasizing his adherence to nature as inspiration for his art. This fine example utilizes numerous rods set at opposing angles. Few of these forms were made, and one large scale example was installed at the Federal Reserve Bank in Richmond, Virginia.
